Gary Hart Rationalises The Selby Rail Crash

Gary Hart who fell asleep at the wheel loosing control of his vehicle which then left the road and hit a train killing ten people displays that classic aspect of humans. The rationalistion.

He does not accept the part he played in the problem, preferring to to manage his cognitive dissonance by claiming "I believe in fate and I was meant to be there that morning."

  1. Blame the society that created this "blaming culture" when the politicians, the police and the press try to find somebody for the tragic ACCIDENT.... There is no proof that the driver fell asleep, so all he is guilty of is just having an accident due to malfunction of his vehicle. Stop depicting him like some sort of a monster!

  2. I don't believe the above describes him as a monster. The post explicitly states he is a human being.
