ReplyDeleteI did a great quiz on Facebook and came out as a Benevolent Visionary, which is about as good as it could get as far as I'm concerned! Or am I just being gullible and giving credence to the quiz that told me what I wanted to hear?
Ha ha! These 'profiles' are great aren't they. I guess they must have grain of truth in them because we have to 'choose' preference. That said, as you probably know they rely on 'cold reading' - the stuff of mentalists and palm readers (Derren Brown too). Its interesting that in my professioanl aerea of org. and management they are used all the time -- Myers Briggs learning styles , Blebin team roles etc etc. Typical of so called Scientific Management, where the aim is to 'measure and control' - To quote Michael O'Leary MD of Ryan Air... I reckon 'its' a load of bollockology' we're far too complex to be 'boxed' :) In Fact tests have been done with H.R. dept favourite Belbin to show they have as much predictive power as a Horoscope...no wonder I didn't get that CEO job - I'm an Aquarius - damn!!!
